These are the winning photographs of the 2008 Barclays Photographic Awards.
This final photo is my favourite as the ball is at the point where there is nothing anyone can do to prevent the goal, as Van Der Sar and Vidic look on helpless.

mate these united photographs are fantastic. i remember that last one against city in the munich 50th anniversary game. The way the goal was filmed on sky looked dark...
